Occupied Jerusalem, July 31 (QNA) - A young Palestinian man was shot with live ammunition, while several others, including children, suffered tear gas inhalation during clashes with Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the town of Al-Junaid, west of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, on Friday.

Medical sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that teams treated the young man for a gunshot wound to the abdomen and provided assistance to ten people suffering from tear gas inhalation following an attack by settlers and Israeli occupation forces on the town.

Local sources said a number of settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the town and stormed Al-Amiriya area and its surroundings west of Nablus, as well as Tell area southwest of the city.

In a related development, Israeli occupation forces carried out raids and arrest campaigns across several governorates in the occupied West Bank.

Security sources said the occupation forces raided the headquarters of the Service Committee in Qaddura Refugee Camp in central Ramallah and fired tear gas canisters in the vicinity of a medical complex. They also stormed Al-Masyoun and Ain Manjed neighbourhoods in the city.

In Salfit, Israeli occupation forces raided the city at dawn, searched several homes, ransacked their contents, detained several young men, and subjected them to field interrogation.

The latest developments come amid escalating raids and attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers on cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. The attacks have included the use of live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, and tear gas, in addition to damage to private property. (QNA)
