Kyiv, July 29 (QNA) - Five people, including a child, were injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region on Wednesday, Ukrainian authorities said.

Oleksandr Hanza, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram that Russian forces launched drone, guided bomb and artillery attacks on four locations in the region: Nikopol district and the communities of Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovske.

The attacks damaged a medical clinic, a shop, private homes and vehicles, leaving five people, including a child, injured, according to the Ukrainian state news agency Ukrinform.

The attacks come amid an escalation in the more than four-year-old war, with both sides stepping up drone and missile attacks on military positions and critical infrastructure in recent months. (QNA)
