Gaza, July 27 (QNA) - Several Palestinians were wounded on Monday, including some who were critically injured, when an Israeli drone bombed near the Al-Qarara pedestrian bridge, north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, medical sources reported.

The sources added that two Palestinians were also wounded when Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire on Al-Tina Street, south of Khan Younis.

Israeli artillery shelled the southern part of the city, while military vehicles opened heavy salvos toward western Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, as well as many other parts of the enclave.

Meanwhile, Israeli gunboats fired toward the Gaza City coast amid artillery bombardment targeting the eastern part of the city.

Three fishermen were wounded after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb at them while they were at sea near the entrance to Gaza's port.

The death toll from the Israeli armed campaign in the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, had climbed to 73,329, with 174,009 people wounded, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.

In a report issued today, the ministry highlighted that the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire was reached last October has risen to 1,203, with 3,900 injuries, while 803 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble. (QNA)
