Brussels, July 27 (QNA) - European stock indices closed higher at the end of trading today.
The European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.19 percent to close at 645.75 points, with most sectors performing positively, except for energy stocks, which fell by about two percent.
Britain's FTSE 100 index rose by 0.42 percent, France's CAC 40 index climbed by 0.40 percent, and Germany's DAX index advanced by 1.30 percent.
The energy and utilities sectors were the only decliners in the Stoxx 600 index, while travel and leisure stocks led the gains. (QNA)
