Khartoum, July 26 (QNA) - The Sudanese military announced Saturday that it had recaptured the city of Bara, along with several other areas in North Kordofan State in western Sudan, following battles with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

In a statement, the military said the armed forces had successfully retaken and secured Al-Baraka, Um Sayala, Um Qurfa, Jabrat Al-Sheikh, and Bara, with the participation of the Joint Forces and other supporting forces.

It added that the operations had resulted in the destruction of 73 RSF combat vehicles, the seizure of a number of vehicles, and the killing of several RSF personnel and officers. (QNA)
