Doha, July 26 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani has held a phone call with HH Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

The conversation focused on ways to further strengthen cooperation between Doha and Riyadh and the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at reducing tensions and promoting security and stability in the region.

HE Sheikh Mohammed stressed the importance of all parties committing to diplomacy and implementing agreements reached under the memorandum of understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He highlighted the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, protecting regional security, safeguarding progress achieved so far, and supporting wider stability.

His Excellency also reaffirmed Doha's full support for efforts to de-escalate tensions and reach a comprehensive agreement that would deliver lasting peace in the region. (QNA)
