Kuwait, July 26 (QNA) - The State of Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the repeated Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea, the last of which was on the Saudi ship NCC MASA while sailing in the Red Sea. Kuwait considered these attacks a blatant breach of international law and a direct threat to the security and freedom of maritime navigation, the safety of international trade, and energy supplies.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and interests, rejecting any practices that would destabilize the region's security and stability.
The ministry called for an immediate cessation of these attacks and the necessity to abide by international law rules that ensure the freedom and safety of navigation in international waterways. (QNA)
