Kuwaiti Customs Says Work is Uninterrupted at All Border Crossings
Kuwait, July 23 (QNA) - Kuwait's General Administration of Customs confirmed that it continues to carry out its duties at all border crossings and is taking the necessary measures to safeguard border security and ensure the uninterrupted provision of customs services in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The statement was issued following a renewed drone attack this evening by hostile drones targeting Al Abdali border crossing.
According to the statement, the Director General of Kuwait's General Administration of Customs visited the Abdali Customs Center this evening to inspect the damage and received a briefing from field officials on the impact of the attacks and the measures taken in response.
Earlier today, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense Colonel Saud Al Atwan said that Al Abdali border crossing was targeted again by hostile drones on Thursday evening, resulting in damage but no casualties. He added that the relevant authorities immediately took the necessary measures and were handling the situation in coordination with the concerned agencies. (QNA)
