Doha, July 02 (QNA) - The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) affirmed that Qatari nationals continue to play a pivotal role in implementing the country's development projects. This is part of Ashghal's ongoing efforts to attract, train, and empower Qatari talent across various disciplines, thereby enhancing their contribution to infrastructure and public building projects according to the highest standards.
In a statement released today, Ashghal explained that Qataris comprise 60% of its total workforce, reflecting its commitment to investing in national human capital and supporting national development goals.
On the engineering front, the authority noted that its engineering staff includes 1,305 engineers, of whom 741 are Qatari, representing 57% of the total engineering workforce.
Furthermore, Qatari male engineers constitute 55% of the national engineering talent within the authority, while Qatari female engineers make up 45%. This reflects Ashghal's success in empowering national talent of both genders and providing them with opportunities to actively participate in implementing strategic projects, contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure that supports Qatar National Vision 2030.
