Kuwait, July 19 (QNA) - The State of Kuwait strongly condemned Sunday the heinous Iranian attack on one of the country's power generation and water desalination plants.

In a statement, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said the repeated targeting of critical civilian infrastructure reflects a systematic pattern of aggression, constitutes a dangerous escalation, and poses a grave threat to civilian safety and security.

It added that the attack is a flagrant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.

The Ministry held Iran fully responsible, legally and morally, for the attacks and their consequences, stressing that Kuwait reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its security and defend its territory and vital facilities against any aggression or threat, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter and the rules of international law.
