Ministry of Interior: One Child Sustained Injury Due to Falling Shrapnel Resulting from Interception Operations

Doha, July 17 (QNA) - The Ministry of Interior confirmed that one child sustained an injury due to falling shrapnel resulting from interception operations, and is currently receiving the necessary medical care.

In a statement today, the Ministry said that in the context of the continuous monitoring of developments on the ground, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that security authorities and Civil Defense teams have initiated their procedures in accordance with approved response plans following the Iranian attack that targeted the country this morning.

Based on received reports and field findings, the Ministry confirmed that one child sustained an injury due to falling shrapnel resulting from interception operations, and is currently receiving the necessary medical care, it added in the statement.

The Ministry also emphasized the strict necessity of obtaining information solely from official sources, and refraining from circulating rumors or publishing any unverified information, photos, or video clips, in order to avoid legal accountability.

The competent security authorities at the Ministry of Interior continued their work with full readiness around the clock, enhancing rapid response, ensuring the preservation of community security and safety, and maintaining the normal flow of services. (QNA)
