Doha, June 25 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held Thursday a telephone conversation with HE Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez.

During the call, HH the Amir expressed Qatar's solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and its friendly people following the earthquakes that struck several regions of the country, affirming Qatar's support and readiness to provide assistance for relief and rescue efforts and to mitigate the impact of the disaster.

For her part, HE the Venezuelan Acting President expressed her deep appreciation to HH the Amir for his sincere sentiments and Qatar's supportive stance, highlighting the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The call also addressed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest. (QNA)
