Doha, June 23 (QNA) - Qatar's General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has secured first place in the Government Services Redesign Challenge 2026, an initiative organized by the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau with the participation of government and semi-government entities.
In a statement on Tuesday, Kahramaa said it received the award for presenting a range of innovative solutions developed through a comprehensive analysis of government services and the key challenges affecting them.
The utility provider said its submission included practical development initiatives supported by forward-looking strategies and preliminary implementation plans, helping it stand out among participating organizations.
Kahramaa described the achievement as a reflection of its commitment to promoting innovation and enhancing the quality of its services in line with Qatar's broader goals for institutional excellence.
The corporation added that its participation formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen a culture of innovation within the organization by encouraging knowledge-sharing, developing staff capabilities and adopting best practices.
Officials said these initiatives aim to improve the efficiency and quality of government services while enhancing the experience of customers and meeting their evolving needs and expectations.
The Government Services Redesign Challenge is designed to encourage public-sector organizations to rethink service delivery models and develop innovative approaches to improving performance and user satisfaction. (QNA)
