European Stocks Open Higher

Brussels, June 02 (QNA) - European stock indexes rose at the start of trading on Tuesday.

The pan-European STOXX 600 index opened up about 0.5 percent after falling to its lowest level in a week on Monday.

France's CAC 40 index rose 0.76 percent, while Germany's DAX index gained 0.85 percent.

Italy's FTSE MIB index advanced 0.97 percent, and Britain's FTSE 100 index rose 0.24 percent. (QNA)
