Gaza, June 18 (QNA) - Three Palestinians were martyred, and five others wounded on Thursday in an Israeli occupation airstrike targeting western Gaza City.

Palestinian Civil Defense sources in the Gaza Strip told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that three people were martyred and four others wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a jeep traveling near Abu Khadra Mosque in Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

The same sources also reported that a woman was wounded by Israeli occupation fire in Al-Muharrarat area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Ambulance crews transported the wounded, including women and children, to Al-Saraya Field Hospital in the city center and Al-Shifa Hospital in the west for treatment.

The total death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,018 martyrs, with 17,273 wounded. Since the ceasefire entered into effect last October, 1,007 Palestinians have been martyred and 3,165 wounded. (QNA)
