Doha, June 14 (QNA) - Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has been accorded the Excellence Award by the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) during the "From Adoption to Impact" event, in recognition of its efforts to strengthen national capabilities and build cybersecurity expertise.

On behalf of Ashghal, the award was handed to Manager of the Human Resources Department at Ashghal, Rashid Saeed Al Hajri.

The Authority's receipt of the award came as a corollary of its achievement of more than 1,000 training participations across specialized cybersecurity programs and initiatives, which have set in motion a sustained improvement in cybersecurity awareness and enhanced employees' readiness to keep pace with rapidly evolving digital challenges.

Among six outstanding government entities nationwide, Ashghal was selected in appreciation of its contributions to supporting corporate excellence, upscaling national capabilities, and realizing a concrete impact in the area of cybersecurity.

By and large, this recognition underscores Ashghal's commitment to developing its human resources and beefing up its digital readiness based on the best national practices and standards, in support of the nation's efforts to entrench an advanced and enduring cybersecurity system. (QNA)
