Oil Prices Extend Decline Amid Focus on Middle East Developments
Singapore, June 12 (QNA) - Oil prices fell on Friday, extending losses for a second consecutive session as concerns over a potential military escalation between the United States and Iran eased.
Brent crude futures declined by USD 1.21, or 1.3 percent, to USD 89.17 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell by USD 1.23, or 1.4 percent, to USD 86.48 a barrel.
For the week, Brent crude recorded a loss of 4.2 percent, while WTI declined by 4.4 percent. (QNA)
