Amman, June 11 (QNA) - The Jordanian Armed Forces announced that air defense systems intercepted and shot down 20 missiles launched from Iran toward the Azraq town in Zarqa governorate early Thursday.
The Jordan News Agency (Petra) quoted a military official from the General Command of the Armed Forces as saying that the interception resulted in the fall of several fragments, but no casualties or material damage were reported.
The same source said that engineering teams dealt with the remnants of the missiles to ensure that no explosive materials remained inside them. (QNA)
