Doha, June 01 (QNA) - Qatar Tourism has announced that its June calendar of events will feature a wide range of activities and entertainment programs as the country enters the summer season, including international sporting events, major exhibitions, and family-oriented attractions.
In a statement on Monday, Qatar Tourism said the June edition of the Qatar Calendar offers residents and visitors a variety of experiences under the umbrella of the "Hala Summer" campaign.
The program includes diverse events designed to cater to different interests, transforming Doha into an interactive hub that combines world-class sports competitions, leading trade exhibitions, and cultural and entertainment performances suitable for all age groups.
According to the statement, visitors can look forward to major highlights such as the Diamond League athletics meeting, as well as exhibitions like Project Qatar, alongside a selection of concerts and theatrical performances.
Qatar Tourism said the packed schedule reflects its ongoing efforts to position the country as a year-round destination, offering a mix of sporting, cultural, and entertainment experiences that appeal to both residents and international visitors.
The June calendar underscores Qatar's strategy to strengthen its tourism sector by expanding seasonal offerings and enhancing its global profile as a dynamic destination for events and leisure. (QNA)
