Athens, May 08 (QNA) - Greek authorities announced today that they have launched an investigation into a military naval drone that washed ashore on one of the islands off the country's western coast.
They stated that the vessel was transferred to a naval base on the mainland for examination, noting that it was found inside a coastal cave on the island of Lefkada yesterday (Thursday).
Although authorities have not yet revealed the vessel's origin, Greek naval experts indicated that its characteristics are similar to those of the Ukrainian "Magura" drones, which are remotely detonated suicide vessel. (QNA)
