European Stocks Open Cautiously
Brussels, May 04 (QNA) - European stock markets opened trading cautiously on Monday, awaiting developments in West Asia after US President Donald Trump announced an operation to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Among the major markets, France's CAC 40 index in the Paris Stock Exchange fell by 0.15 percent, while Germany's DAX index in Frankfurt rose by 0.05 percent.
Italy's FTSE MIB index in the Milan Stock Exchange increased by 0.19 percent, while the London Stock Exchange was closed for a public holiday in Britain. (QNA)
