Makkah Al-Mukarramah, May 18 (QNA) - Qatar's Hajj Mission is continuing its efforts to equip the tents of pilgrims of the State of Qatar in the holy sites of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.

To accomplish this task, the mission's operators are pursuing the highest regulatory and technical standards to ensure a streamlined, secure and integrated pilgrimage experience for those pilgrims through operating in unison with the authoritative agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia based on the latter's approved operational plans to serve pilgrims.

Head of the Monitoring and Inspection Unit and the Head of the Holy Sites Services Unit at the Qatari Hajj Mission, Mohammed Hassan Al Kaabi, assured that the tent preparation operations are afoot in accordance with an accurate timeframe that has already been determined with a rapid tempo.

He clarified that this pursued tempo has resulted in finalizing a variety of works and equipment, thereby achieving the highest rates of comfort and safety for pilgrims of Qatar during the performance of the religious rites.

Since the end of the past pilgrimage season, the mission has embarked on laying out equipment plans ahead of the new season through conducting field visits to the Holy Sites and convening coordinative meetings with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and relevant entities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Al Kaabi clarified.

These meetings, Al Kaabi said, have generated clear-eyed mechanisms in place to carry out these preparations based on the approved requirements and criteria, in addition to contracting with one of the major specialized tent equipment firms so as to meet the aspirations of Qatar's pilgrims and cope with the best approved specifications in this respect.

He pointed out that the actual tent equipment works in the Holy Sites, namely in Mina and Arafat, had been directly launched during the Holy month of Ramadan to ensure ventilation and cooling systems are enhanced and equipping toilets and washing facilities based on the highest standards.

The works likewise included the enhancement of catering services, as well as electrical and water supplies, with a particular emphasis on various safety, security and internal regulation requirements to ensure having a comfortable atmosphere in place for the pilgrims throughout their commutation in the Holy Sites, Al Kaabi noted.

Al Kaabi emphasized that these active operations would achieve a facilitated, secure and integrated pilgrimage experience for those pilgrims.

The mission's field task forces are monitoring the equipment operations within the sites around the clock under the full oversight of the head of the mission and the advisory committee, Al Kaabi assured, indicating that the intended goal is to make sure that all facilities are complying with the approved technical specifications and all services are fully ready in an efficient way.

Al Kaabi further noted that the relentless operation in unison with the competent authorities in Saudi Arabia -within the seconded operational plans- has helped ensure the flow of procedures and rapid response to all requirements when it comes to serving the pilgrims.

These smooth measures, he outlined, shore up the quality of services afforded to the pilgrims of Qatar in various stages of this faithful journey, highlighting that the mission is operating with maximum capacity to accomplish multiple services and have conducive conditions in place ahead of receiving the pilgrims in the coming days.

He explained that the mission's activities underscore Qatar's ironclad commitment to boosting service quality and streamlining the performance of the rites in a faithful, tranquil and organized atmosphere.

Serving the pilgrims of the State of Qatar is a national humanitarian responsibility vested in all operators of this Hajj mission, Al Kaabi recalled, heaping praise on the gargantuan efforts being undertaken by the authorities and authoritative agencies in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve the pilgrims.

The constant coordination and productive collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, alongside the relevant entities in Saudi Arabia, have significantly helped facilitate most procedures and preparations, Al Kaabi reemphasized, adding that this close collaboration has mostly helped provide an integrated operational environment that broadly materialized in terms of the services afforded to all pilgrims, including those from Qatar.

He added that the substantial commitment of brothers in Saudi Arabia to providing best services, along with their tireless keenness to upgrade the pilgrimage system, have had an evident impact on promoting these services that best suit the sanctum of this blessed ritual, and ensure pilgrims enjoy comfort to expeditiously perform their rites in a more serene atmosphere.

As such, Al Kaabi implored all pilgrims from Qatar to adhere to the instructions rendered by pilgrimage operators and show cooperation with the mission's administrative and field teams.

What matters most is their compliance with all instructions put out by the Saudi authorities to help achieve seamless flow and organization throughout these rites to ensure the safety and comfort of all, he underlined.

In essence, the mission thereby confirmed that all efforts it undertakes come as part of the State of Qatar's commitment to ensuring a facilitated and secure pilgrimage experience for its pilgrims through leveraging a variety of human, regulatory and technological potential, which ultimately help pilgrims perform Hajj rites in a more faithful and assured atmosphere.

Overall, these efforts are consistent with Qatar's Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) Strategy (2025-2030) that overtly prioritizes special attention when it comes to cherishing Islamic rituals and facilitating their performance.

This is done through advancing a combined system to serve Qatar's pilgrims to keep up with the best approved standards and practices, in addition to leveraging the aforementioned potential so as to optimally meet their needs. (QNA)
