Doha, May 18 (QNA) - HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi received a phone call on Monday from HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

During the call, the two sides discussed the latest regional developments, particularly efforts related to maintaining the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, as well as ongoing initiatives aimed at de-escalation in a manner that enhances regional security and stability.

HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the State of Qatar's full support for Pakistan's mediation efforts aimed at resolving the crisis through peaceful means.

He also stressed the importance of all parties engaging constructively with these efforts to create favorable conditions for advancing negotiations toward a comprehensive agreement that would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region. (QNA)
