Justice Ministry Official to QNA: DIBF Booth Showcases Professional Publications in Legal Awareness
Doha, May 18 (QNA) - The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is participating in the 35th Doha International Book Fair with a shared booth with the General Secretariat of Council of Ministers, said Director of the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, Dr. Abdullah Hamad Al Khaldi to Qatar News Agency (QNA).
Dr. Al Khaldi added that the booth showcases a wide diversity of releases and professional brochures in legal awareness, including the ministry's legal magazine that includes analytical and comparative studies, as well as comments on the Qatari legislation and legal fatwas and provisions presented in simplified format.
He urged the public to visit the booth to benefit from the various showcased legal genres which obviously concern all community members, explaining that the booth organizes a wide range of events for visitors in terms of panel discussions and interactive initiatives.
Overall, this booth provides a trailblazing interactive and thoughtful experience that sheds the light on the primary legal initiatives and releases, thereby underpinning the national scientific production and boosting the Qatari legal identity.
A corner at this booth showcases the Permanent Constitution of the State of Qatar, along with the official gazette releases since the publication of its first issue, as well as a combination of relevant legislation that concern the public.
A special corner at this booth has been dedicated to authors of General Secretariat of Council of Ministers, alongside a corner for AI-powered smart photography for visitors who are willing to capture photos and a souvenir photo with them at this booth.
Those who desire to take photos should exclusively dress legal professional attire provided by the curators at the booth. Additionally, the booth hosts an interactive corner for children that presents instant gifts to shore up legal culture in the minds of young people, along with educational video games that develop intelligence and enhance children’s familiarity with useful educational programs.
Furthermore, the shared booth showcases the book of the State's achievements report for 2025, which overtly documents the flagship projects and pioneering initiatives the nation's ministries and institutions have accomplished as part of the National Development Strategies and Qatar National Vision 2030.
It also projects the pioneering role of both the Ministry and the General Secretariat of Council of Ministers to capitalize on the legal uses of AI.
This participation materializes scientific and legal production, and innovative initiatives, along with an institutional participatory vision to buttress cultural values, foster their role and contribution to societal development and progress.
This is in addition to activating social responsibility, encouraging creativity, and achieving strategic planning objectives in support of national development programs.
The booth also showcases the Qatari Legal Authors initiative, which brings together the intellectual output of a group of Qatari writers and researchers from among the ministry's staffers. (QNA)
