Palestinian Critically Injured by Occupation Forces’ Gunfire, Palestinians Arrested in Various Areas of West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, May 17 (QNA) - A Palestinian was seriously injured on Sunday by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire this morning in the town of Beit Awwa, north west of Hebron in the West Bank.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing local sources, reported that Israeli forces stationed at the separation wall west of the town opened live fire toward Palestinian residents, critically injuring a young man.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinians since this morning from Bethlehem, the northern Jordan Valley, and northern Ramallah, after raiding and searching their homes.
Cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem witness daily raids and incursions by Israeli occupation forces and settlers, accompanied by confrontations, arrests and the firing of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas canisters at Palestinians.
