Brussels, May 14 (QNA) - European stocks rose in Thursday's session, supported by momentum in the artificial intelligence sector that outweighed geopolitical concerns related to developments in West Asia.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index gained 0.4 percent to 614.05 points, after rising 0.8 percent on Wednesday.
Among the major markets, France's CAC 40 index in Paris rose 0.62 percent.
Germany's DAX index in Frankfurt also climbed 1.00 percent, while Britain's FTSE 100 index in London rose 0.24 percent.
Meanwhile, Italy's FTSE MIB index in Milan advanced 0.73 percent. (QNA)
