5.0-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes South of Fiji
Suva, May 11 (QNA) - An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck south of the Fiji Islands in the South Pacific Ocean.
The German Research Centre for Geosciences stated that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred at a depth of 542.3 kilometers.
The Fiji Islands are located in the Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean, which is subject from time to time to many earthquakes that can sometimes be powerful. (QNA)
