Qatar's Beach Volleyball Team Qualifies for FIVB U18 World Championships

Tashkent, May 09 (QNA) - Qatar has qualified for the 2026 FIVB U18 Beach Volleyball World Championships for the first time ever, after reaching the semifinals of the AVC Asian U18 Beach Volleyball Championships 2026, taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Made up of duo Moussa Alkheer and Mubarak Musa, team Qatar managed to qualify for the upcoming World Championship after defeating Iran in straight sets in the quarterfinals.
Sunday will see Qatar face off Kazakhstan's duo Alikhan Agabek and Orazali Sagynysh in the semifinals, as Al Adaam aims to continue its strong performance and advance to the final.
Throughout the tournament, Team Qatar has continued to deliver impressive performances, reflecting the development of Qatari beach volleyball at the youth level. (QNA)
