Occupied Jerusalem, April 09 (QNA) - A young man was martyred last night by Israeli occupation forces near the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas. His body was subsequently withheld by the occupation forces.

Local sources confirmed to WAFA that residents confronted an attack by colonists near the village of Tayasir before occupation forces stormed the village and shot the Palestinian youth.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Tubas stated that it received a report of a young man being wounded in Tayasir, but that the occupation forces prevented its medical teams from reaching the scene.

The Society added that the occupation forces detained its staff, confiscated their mobile phones and identity cards, and prevented them from retrieving the body of the deceased near the outpost.

Cities, towns and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witness daily raids and incursions by occupation forces and settlers, accompanied by clashes, arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas at Palestinians. The intensity of these campaigns has increased alongside the unprecedented and ongoing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023. (QNA)
