Doha, April 08 (QNA) - The Ministry of Interior, as part of monitoring on field developments, said that security authorities responded to an incident resulting from the interception of Iranian missiles by Qatari air defenses, which led to debris falling on a citizen’s home in the Muraikh area.

In a statement issued today, the ministry said the incident resulted in four moderate injuries, including a Qatari child. Specialized teams immediately addressed the cases, transferring the injured to receive necessary medical care. The Ministry also reported limited material damage at the site.

The ministry noted that relevant authorities continue to operate in accordance with approved response plans, ensuring rapid handling of incidents, containing their effects, and enhancing public safety.

It called on the public to adhere to issued instructions, avoid gatherings or heading to incident sites or filming, and to allow ambulances, civil defense, and security patrols to perform their duties. It also urged people not to approach any unknown objects or debris and to report them immediately via the emergency number (999).

The ministry emphasized the importance of obtaining information only from official sources and avoiding the spread of rumors or unverified information, due to their impact on public safety and ongoing field operations. (QNA)
