Doha, April 07 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the meeting of the committee of directors and heads of judicial and legal training centers and institutes in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries for the year 2026, which was held virtually on Tuesday.

In the meeting, the State of Qatar was represented by Director of the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies (CLJS), Dr. Abdullah Hamad Al Khaldi.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the working mechanism of directors and heads of judicial and legal training centers and institutes, as well as ways to implement joint training programs between the GCC countries in the judicial and legal fields, in order to contribute to strengthening Gulf integration and exchanging experiences.

The participants reviewed the draft standards for planning and implementing training and designing training packages, with the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of the training system in the GCC countries. The "Training of Trainers" program project was also reviewed, in addition to several topics related to enhancing joint Gulf action in the field of judicial and legal training, where appropriate recommendations were adopted in their regard.

Qatar's participation in the meeting comes within the framework of its keenness to support the paths of joint Gulf cooperation, and to develop national capabilities in the judicial and legal fields, in line with the best international practices. (QNA)
