Malaysia Secures Safe Passage for Commercial Vessel in Strait of Hormuz
Kuala Lumpur, April 07 (QNA) – The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed Tuesday that one of the seven Malaysian-owned commercial vessels previously stranded in the Strait of Hormuz due to the evolving regional situation has been granted safe passage and is currently proceeding to its final destination.
"This positive outcome follows high-level diplomatic engagements", the ministry said in a statement.
The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its firm commitment to the principles of freedom of navigation and the safety and security of maritime passage, in accordance with international law. Malaysia emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement in addressing regional challenges and maintaining peace and stability. (QNA)
