Israeli Occupation Forces Advance Again into Northern Quneitra Countryside in Southern Syria
Damascus, April 06 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces have advanced again into the northern countryside of Quneitra province in southern Syria.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that a force consisting of two military vehicles and a number of soldiers entered the town of Jabatha Al Khashab, raided and searched a house, and later withdrew toward a military position in the Jabatha Al Khashab nature reserve, with no reports of any arrests.
The Israeli occupation forces had previously entered the same town and set up a temporary checkpoint at its eastern entrance.
The occupying forces continue their attacks and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by infiltrating southern Syria and attacking Syrians through raids, arrests, and land bulldozing.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stating that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void and carry no legal effect under international law. (QNA)
