Kuwait, April 3 (QNA) - Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, operated by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), was targeted in a drone attack early Friday, triggering fires in several processing units.
In a statement carried by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the X platform, KPC said emergency and firefighting teams were immediately deployed and are working to contain the blaze and prevent further spread.
The corporation added that no injuries were reported, noting that all necessary precautionary measures have been taken to ensure staff safety and safeguard facilities. (QNA)
