Kyiv, April 28 (QNA) - Ukraine announced on Tuesday that its air defenses repelled a Russian drone attack last night, shooting down 95 drones launched at various locations across the country.

The Ukrainian National News Agency (Ukrinform) reported that air defenses successfully downed 95 out of 123 drones.

According to preliminary data, 16 different locations were hit, and debris from downed drones fell on four other sites.

Since the outbreak of war on Feb. 24, 2022, both Russia and Ukraine have issued near-daily reports on the progress of the fighting and the affected areas. However, due to the ongoing conflict and the nature of the fighting, these reports are often issued by the two sides without independent verification, limiting the possibility of accurately assessing the extent of casualties and damage on the ground.
