Washington, April 25 (QNA) - US President Donald Trump affirmed that canceling his envoys' trip to Pakistan to meet Iranian officials does not reflect any intention to resume war against Iran, although all options remain on the table.

In a statement to the press on Saturday, President Trump said that he saw no benefit to sending his envoys on an 18-hour flight under the current state of negotiations, underscoring the flight's long duration and that discussions can be as effective over the phone.

In response to a question about whether this step signals an intention to resume military operations against Tehran, the US President denied this, saying he has not yet considered that option.

He added that the US holds all the cards and expressed the American side's unwillingness to go to Pakistan to just sit and talk with no result. (QNA)
