Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Phone Call from Egypt's Foreign Minister

Doha, April 26 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received Sunday a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty.

The call discussed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them. It also discussed developments in the region, particularly those related to the ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and efforts aimed at reducing escalation in a way that contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the need for all parties to engage with the ongoing mediation efforts, which would open the way for addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, and lead to reaching a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
