Brussels, April 24 (QNA) - European stocks closed lower Friday, with most major indices performing negatively.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell 0.6 percent to 611.04 points.

The French CAC 40 index also declined, dropping 0.84 percent to close at 8,157.82 points, while the British FTSE 100 index fell 0.75 percent to 10,379.08 points.

The German DAX index saw a slight decline of 0.06 percent, closing at 24,140.87 points. (QNA)
