Beirut, April 24 (QNA) - The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced today that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against the country since March 2 has risen to 2,491, with 7,719 wounded.

The Ministry's Health Emergency Operations Center stated in a press release that the total cumulative toll of the aggression has reached 2,491 dead and 7,719 wounded. Meanwhile, the National News Agency reported several injuries from Israeli artillery shelling on the town of Yater in southern Lebanon, while the Israeli army carried out a heavy bombing in the town of Taybeh.

The Israeli army continues its attacks on southern Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire that began on April 16 for ten days and was extended last night for three weeks. (QNA)
