Israeli Forces Arrest at Least 15 Palestinians, Including Two Children, in West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, April 23 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces launched an arrest campaign Thursday targeting at least 15 Palestinians from various areas across the West Bank, following raids on and searches of their homes.
Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested ten Palestinians from Hebron Governorate and two young men from the city of Tulkarm after raiding and searching their homes.
The forces also arrested a Palestinian and his two children south of Bethlehem, in addition to storming the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, and detaining a number of Palestinians.
The Israeli occupation continues to expand its repressive and settlement practices across the occupied territories by carrying out raids and incursions into homes and arresting residents. It also enables settlers—through what is considered illegal legitimization—to commit violations against Palestinians, seize their property and land without justification, and support settlement projects by building outposts to advance its plans to appropriate as much Palestinian land as possible and consolidate control over it, without any intervention to prevent these violations of international laws and conventions.
