Doha, April 22 (QNA) - Qatar University's (QU) Admissions Department has announced that applying for readmission to undergraduate programs for the 2026 Fall semester is open, from April 19-29.

Fall 2026 applications are available for all but the College of Sport Sciences, the University has said.

Those eligible for readmission include: Students who withdrew and have been absent for more than four consecutive or non-consecutive semesters without prior approval; Students previously admitted to the Foundation Program who were absent for more than two semesters; Students who were unable to complete Foundation Program requirements within four regular semesters; Students placed under "Academic Dismissal" after two unsuccessful attempts to pass courses in year-based programs or common year courses; and Students whose enrollment was terminated for academic reasons due to poor academic performance or failure to meet graduation requirements according to relevant policies.

Applying is possible by completing the online application form on QU's official website (apply.qu.edu.qa) and uploading the required documents, including a valid Qatari ID copy (and a passport copy for non-Qataris), before the deadline on April 29, 2026.

Additional required documents can be then submitted in person from Sunday to Thursday, between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, at the Student Affairs Building (I11), on the first floor—Room C204 for male students and Room C250 for female students.

Students are selected on a competitive basis, highlighted QU, noting that meeting minimum high school requirements does not guarantee acceptance into a student's first-choice program, as admission depends on each college's capacity among other criteria.

Granted only once, readmission to QU gives students the opportunity to complete their academic path.

QU attaches great importance to supporting readmitted students, providing them with appropriate academic advising and familiarizing them with university policies and study plans to ensure that they make the most of this opportunity and succeed academically. (QNA)
