Qatar Stocks Edge Higher as Market Closes Up 0.12 Percent

Doha, April 21 (QNA) - Qatar's stock market closed slightly higher on Tuesday, supported by gains across a number of sectors.

The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose by 12.56 points, or 0.12%, to finish at 10,684.76 points.

During the session, a total of 195.7 million shares were traded, with a combined value of around 475.7 million Qatari riyals across 26,769 transactions.

Shares in 32 companies advanced, while 17 declined and three remained unchanged.

Market capitalization increased to approximately QR 638.6 billion, compared with QR 637.3 billion in the previous session. (QNA)
