Makkah Al Mukarramah, April 21 (QNA) - The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned Israeli entity's announcement of appointing a diplomatic envoy to the so-called "Somaliland."

In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa denounced this act as a condemned violation targeting the sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia and its territorial unity. He said it constitutes a threat to regional and international peace and security, as it clearly contradicts the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the Constitutive Act of the African Union.

He reaffirmed the League's firm stance and full support for the unity, sovereignty, and legitimate institutions of Somalia, which represent the will of the Somali people. (QNA)
