Doha, April 20 (QNA) - The Qatar Photography Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, opened Monday the joint photography exhibition "Heritage Frames" by photographers Shaima Al Mutawa and Noura Al Abd Al Jabbar.
The exhibition will run until May 20 at the center's headquarters in the Katara Cultural Village Foundation.

On this occasion, Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain, Director of the Qatar Photography Center, told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the exhibition is organized within the framework of the Ministry of Culture's plan to support and showcase young talent, and to refine their skills through exhibitions, courses, and workshops organized by the Qatar Photography Center throughout the year, in addition to photography tours of Qatar's cultural and heritage landmarks in various locations.
Al Buainain praised the participating photographers' ability to handle their subjects with distinctive aesthetic appeal.
For her part, photographer Shaima Al Mutawa told QNA that the exhibition draws inspiration from heritage and presents it through contemporary styles and perspectives that reflect its importance to future generations.
She explained that heritage is not merely presented as the past, but as a vibrant and living force present in our hearts and daily lives, adding that she attempted to tell complete stories through visual expression.
Similarly, photographer Noura Al Abd Al Jabbar told QNA that the exhibition presents heritage elements, landmarks, and faces by blending the present with the past, using modern and diverse photographic techniques, and employing both color and black and white photography. (QNA)
