Beirut, April 19 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation army continued its assaults in southern Lebanon on Sunday, in breach of the truce that came into effect on April 16.

Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli forces set fire to homes in the town of Qantara in the Marjeyoun district.

NNA added that Israeli forces carried out a massive detonation operation in the vicinity of Taybeh and Deir Siryan, while continuing sweeping operations in Deir Siryan.

Another demolition blast was also reported in Mays al-Jabal in the Marjeyoun district.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces demolished remaining structures in the city of Bint Jbeil, as tanks continued to patrol the area. (QNA)
