Israeli Occupation Authorities Continue to Close Al-Aqsa Mosque for 34th Consecutive Day
Occupied Jerusalem, April 02 (QNA) - For the 34th consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces continue to close Al-Aqsa Mosque compound to worshipers, citing security concerns and the ongoing Israeli war with Iran.
The Israeli occupation police intensified their military operations around Jerusalem and within Palestinian cities and towns in the West Bank, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.
In this context, the so-called Temple Mount groups continue their incitement to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque during Passover, demanding that it be opened during the holiday period from April 2 to 9.
In response, the occupation is exploiting the "state of emergency" as a pretext to consolidate its control over Al-Aqsa Mosque, amidst escalating calls from the Palestinian public and Jerusalemites to mobilize towards the nearest military checkpoints and barriers surrounding the mosque to break the imposed siege and force its reopening.
