Qatar's Beach Handball Team Leaves for China to Participate in 6th Asian Games

Doha, April 15 (QNA) - Team Qatar's beach handball squad leaves for China on Wednesday to compete in the 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026, running from April 22 to 30.

Qatar handball team coach Khalid Hassan called up the following players for the squad: Rashid Madadi, Ahmed Elmeniawy, Amir Nowraddine Denguir, Hamdi Ayed, Hani Kakhi, Abdulrazzaq Murad, Mohamed Ali Lotfi, Abdelhady Taha Elnamr, Zarko Markovic, Anis Zouaoui, Motasem Abdulwahid, and Firas Elmoncef Zemzemi.

The team will begin their campaign at Sanya 2026 by facing Pakistan on April 21, followed by a match against Oman later the same day.

They will then play Bangladesh on April 23 and Mongolia later that day.

Qatar will afterwards face Jordan on April 24, Thailand on April 26, and will conclude their group-stage matches against the Maldives on April 27. (QNA)
