Ministry of Municipality Opens Online Application for Agricultural Business Licenses, Import Approvals for Restricted Fertilizers

Doha, April 14 (QNA) - The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Department of Agricultural Affairs, announced the opening of online applications to obtain technical licenses to conduct business in the agricultural sector, for owners of companies and institutions working in the fields of importing, exporting, trading, producing, processing and manufacturing pesticides of all kinds, as well as fertilizers, soil conditioners, seeds, seedlings and plants.

The Ministry explained on Tuesday, in a post on the X, that applications must be submitted through its website within a maximum period of (60) days from the date of the announcement. It emphasized the importance of all relevant parties adhering to the specified deadline for completing their procedures.

In the same context, the same department opened the online application process for local agricultural companies wishing to obtain approval to import restricted fertilizers, specifically nitrate fertilizers and their additives, for the purpose of selling them to farms producing for the 2026/2027 agricultural season.

The Ministry explained that applications must be submitted through the official website of the Ministry of Municipality during the period from April 15- 20. It stressed that no applications will be accepted after the specified deadline. (QNA)
