Occupied Jerusalem, April 14 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out an arrest campaign on Tuesday targeting more than twenty Palestinians across various areas of the West Bank, following raids on and searches of their homes.

Palestinian news agency (WAFA) said that the IOF arrested dozens of Palestinians from the town of Bal’a, east of Tulkarm, six others from Qalandiya camp north of occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), and three others from the city of Tubas and the village of Tayasir to its east.

The IOF arrested a child and a boy during a raid on the village of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah, and two other Palestinians from the city of Nablus. The IOF also arrested two young men from Al-Khalil and another from Al-Bireh after having assaulted them.

The Israeli occupation continues to expand its repressive and settlement-related practices across the occupied Palestinian territories by carrying out raids and home invasions, arresting residents, and unlawfully legitimizing colonists to commit violations against Palestinians. This includes the unjust seizure of property and land, and support for settlement projects through the construction of outposts to advance plans aimed at taking over as much Palestinian land as possible and consolidating control over it, without any intervention to prevent these violations of international laws and conventions.
