Doha, April 13 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has received a written message from HE President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea, expressing solidarity with Doha following recent regional developments.
HE Lee conveyed his country's support for the State of Qatar in the aftermath of Iranian attacks on Qatar and the wider region. He also expressed hope for a negotiated settlement to bring the current crisis to an end.
The letter was delivered on Monday by HE Korean Presidential Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik, during a meeting with HH the Amir at the Amiri Diwan in Doha.
During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations between Qatar and Korea, with particular focus on cooperation in energy and economic sectors. They also addressed the latest regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi. (QNA)
